RAW BRASS CARTRIDGE POUCH STUD

This raw brass screw-in stud creates a decorative and functional closure for your leather creations: satchels, pouches, glasses cases... It is also perfect for adjusting the length of a strap, by making several holes at regular intervals to adjust the size according to your needs.

- Total height (without screw): 15 mm
- Ball diameter: 17.5 mm

Recommended leather thickness for screwing: up to 4.5 mm.
For thicker leather, you can use longer screws (sold separately).

ASSEMBLY:
Make a 3 mm hole in the leather, then screw in the stud using a screwdriver.
For the head passage, drill an 8 mm hole with a round punch, then cut a slit (a preliminary test on a leather scrap is recommended to adjust the length according to your leather: start with a small slit that you can enlarge).

Over time, brass can naturally oxidize, and a "verdigris" type patina may appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a product suitable for brass.

The collar stud is also known as a cartridge pouch stud or gogue ball.
